Tottenham are offering to sign midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on loan from Fiorentina with an option to buy for £13.4m.

The 25-year-old – currently out of the Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco – is said to be keen to play under Antonio Conte in north London.

Spurs are waiting for PSG to agree Tanguy Ndombele’s loan terms first, amid offers from Valencia and Everton.

Amrabat has started just one of his 11 Serie A appearances this season – which came in the 1-0 defeat at Venice in mid-October – but played the full 90 minutes in his 31st appearance for his country as they organized a quarter of the CAN. -final with Egypt after beating Malawi in the round of 16.

The midfielder, born in the Netherlands to Moroccan parents, previously represented Utrecht, Feyenoord, Club Brugge and Hellas Verona before his move to Hellas Verona.

But he looks set to be high on Conte’s list as the Italian looks to strengthen his squad by the end of the January transfer window.

Porto winger Luis Diaz and Wolves counterpart Adama Traore are also believed to be targets for Spurs.

But they will also work on exits ahead of Monday’s deadline, although former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino remained coy about PSG’s pursuit of outcast Ndombele.

“I’m not talking about Ndombele because he’s not at our club,” Pochettino said earlier this week. “PSG is open to progress, to improvement.

“I think everything is open – there is one week left (in the transfer window).”
