Mowbray hints at cross-border deals

The former Celtic boss has been heavily linked with the moves of John Souttar and Ryan Hedges and could seal one of them in the coming days.
Souttar has already been offered a pre-contract by Blackburn after they rejected offers for Hedges this summer, and are expected to offer him a pre-contract as well.

“We’re not going to have millions to spend and that’s how per-minute recruiting is done.
“It’s intense around our building knowing where we are going with the players.
“Recruitment is at a really delicate stage.
“We have quite a few footballers coming to the end of their contracts, we are trying to get involved and have some problems.
“Without going into specifics, we have to recruit for the players who, and these guys won’t drop the tools, but if the games get fiery and they risk getting damaged, we’ve had some really serious injuries these days. lately to good footballers and I would never question their integrity except that I have to make sure the club is covered in certain areas.
