Preparations will get more intense from here, with the new season just a few weeks away, and we might also see an increase in transfer activity.

Celtic got off to a relatively quick start in the window, but Rangers are now catching up, still needing to address a number of key areas.

And with that in mind, we’ve rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumors surrounding both clubs.

Exit Soro

Celtic are expected to say goodbye to Ismaila Soro this summer, or at least temporarily.

Soro has yet to appear regularly since arriving two years ago, and he could now be ready to try out his look elsewhere in the form of a loan.

Celtic are reportedly ready to complete a loan deal, and a deal is expected with Arouca in the coming days.

Matondo agreement

Rangers have reportedly reached an agreement with Schalke over the signing of Rabbi Matondo.

The Welsh youngster came through the academies of Cardiff and Manchester City before moving to Germany two years ago.

He has a year left on his contract with Schalke, and now looks set to be sold, with Rangers reaching an agreement in principle to sign the Wales international, according to the Scottish Sun, beating Premier League competition.

Fulgini Interest

Rangers are reportedly interested in a move for Angers midfielder Angelo Fulgini this summer.

The 4th official said: “It’s safe to say that Rangers will be signing a new winger in the coming weeks.

“Now let’s come to Angelo Fulgini. Reports from France indicate that an offer has been made for the midfielder.

“A few of my sources have confirmed that Rangers are definitely interested, but the transfer fee is going to be a deal breaker. Rangers don’t expect to overspend on someone who is in the final 12 months of his contract.

“Fulgini is an attacking midfielder and it looks like he’s even more creative than Lawrence. Apparently he’s one of the best when it comes to facing off and that should really excite Rangers fans.

“However, Angers are likely to be holding £6m. He almost went for double that in January, so the negotiations will be very interesting.
