Leeds United transfer rumors as Whites linked with Championship starlet move on loan

Here are the latest transfer rumors from Leeds United this morning on Friday March 11.

Leeds linked with loan star move from Sheffield United

Since going on loan at Wolves in the summer, Morgan Gibbs-White has been one of Sheffield United’s most notable league players.

He has scored eight goals and seven assists in 24 league games for the Blades this season and was a driving force behind their push to the play-offs.

The 22-year-old’s performances have caused a number of Premier League clubs to sit up and take notice and, according to TEAMtalkLeeds are one of those teams.

Wolves are said to be undecided over their future plans for Gibbs-White and, along with the Whites, Crystal Palace and Southampton are said to be monitoring his situation.

Leeds ‘plan return’ for Serie A midfielder

One of the players who was on Marcelo Bielsa’s wishlist at Elland Road could be signed this summer even though the Argentine is no longer in charge.

The saga involving Nahitan Nandez seemed about to end with him sporting the famous white jersey before the start of the season, but it didn’t.

He eventually prioritized a move to Inter which never materialized either.

TEAMtalk report that his decision has not deterred Leeds who will still be looking to complete a deal at the end of the current campaign.

He has also emerged as a potential target for West Ham, according to the same report.

A Raphinha team in the race – for now

Yesterday’s huge news about the government’s decision to sanction Roman Abramovich and freeze all his assets will have huge consequences for Chelsea.

Unless a new buyer for the club can be found, which would require a special license issued by the government, they will not be able to operate during the summer transfer window.

They have been one of the teams linked with a potential big money move for Raphinha and, at present, are not in contention for his signature.

As we know in football, this could all change very quickly but as things stand, they are unable to sign new players or secure new contracts for their current players.
