Hutton demands £ 10million from Patterson
Former Rangers full-back Alan Hutton believes Everton will have to pay at least £ 10million for Nathan Patterson.
Rafa Benitez has also previously hinted that adding a right-back to his squad in January would be Everton’s priority, with Rangers’ Nathan Patterson once again linked with the Blues.
Patterson, who is under contract at Ibrox until the summer of 2024, was the subject of two failed offers from Everton this summer as they sought to pit Seamus Coleman against each other.
However, the defender has once again been linked with a move to the Blues in recent weeks, as Benitez looks to strengthen his squad next month.
And talk to Football initiate, Hutton said:
âWe are talking about over £ 10million. He’s not playing, it doesn’t look like Tavernier is going to be going anywhere anytime soon.
âI think you’re probably considering £ 10million plus add-ons. I know he hasn’t had a regular place in the Rangers squad, but we’ve seen that with the opportunity he can play at a high level.
âHe played in European competitions, he’s an international player. Obviously, what he can become in the future, the talent is there for everyone to see. This is probably about the price I would look at.
